If you want to make posts concerning what an HHR auto transmission can take or not take. Create a new thread. This thread is about Mikes HHR. Thanks.

Mr Manager, Sir, Previous comments made were concerning the ability of the HHR auto tranny to handle power. I felt my comment WAS NOT off-topic. And I stand by my comment.

Cool 2.4L turbo HHR

I just purchased a 07 HHR 2.4L ,15000 milies ,And I plan to turbo it this summer using an AEROCHARGER , very easy installation considering you dont need a turbo timer nor run any oil lines. But wanted to know if you guys know what exaust manifold to use (T3T4) and down pipe? from the cobolt perhaps or a solstice 2.4. Will i need to do anything with the computer or fuel delivery, plan on running 10psi.- BiG GarY

I would think that you'll need to tune, and need larger injectors.

Not sure what header/dp you will need b/c I have a SC 2.4, but you will need injectors and a tune as GDZHHR said. As for compatibility I know Cobalt exhaust parts are. I am at 11psi and I needed to get 60lb injectors(Siemens). My stage 1 kit came with 39lb injectors and they were maxed at 7psi, so don't bother with those. The 60's will allow you to run 15psi if you have supporting mods to do so. At max my injector duty cycle is 68%. The connection type is EV6. The LSJ/EV1 type will not work. Your tune is very important. Don't even bother starting the car because it will likely not run and if it does that doesn't mean you should drive it. You will blow it up the first time you floor it. Many reputable tuners will be able to build a good tune for you.

Gotta be a way to replicate the switch that's on the E-brake and install it on the dash..... I haven't looked into this yet, but it seems feasible.....

I had my traction control eliminated with my ECM tune.
