Talking

I'm fine with mine using the stock/quiet & efficient muffler. Even more so after Joes' Dyno comparison post.. I like it quiet.. Cause the music sounds sweeter to me..

If it was a V-8, I would have it loud !!!! (no doubt)...

But to each his own, I say..

I put an IMCO Turbo muffler on my '06 shortly after I bought it. I've had Warranty work done a few times since, and nothing was ever said about it.

Thumbs up Thanks

I would like to take the time to Thank Everybody who either took the time to just read, and to those who posted their comments. I wasn't sure that this subject would get as much feedback as it did. I Hope all the questions & comments were Helpful to Everybody. It is Nice to know that with everybody having an opinion (whether an agree, or a disagree), we can get to a place like this that we can help each other with any type of concern one might have. Some people Like Me that doesn't know Alot about the HHR can come here and Learn something. (Like I said, I have had mine for a little over 2 weeks and will Most likely be asking Alot of questions.)
Once Again, Thank You to All for inspiring me to be Proud to be part of such an Awsome bunch of people!
By the way, does anyone get Tired of people coming up and asking if the HHR is a 'copy' of the PiTy Cruiser , or 'Why did you get a car like that?' (of Course I Have to reply, 'I can fit a body in the back of mine, Would you like to go for a ride?'). But Seriously, I just wanted to know if their was any of those type that know Absoultely Nothing about the HHR just in My area, or All over. I would like to hear what your comments are and maybe you can share some of your experiences with such people.
I Look Forward to Your comments on That subject.

Thats all over, I still say Chevy did a Bad job Promoting the HHR.

They did a Launch with them by having a few custom shops work their magic on the intro 2006's then, it seemed like, Nothing.

I think they blew it and could have gone after the younger crowd, by advertising it more and Cooler. Instead kids are buying those Ugly square box jap cars. (they marketed to the younger crowd)

So the HHR is coming to an end too soon, I would have liked to see a second gen HHR and see what it looked like. That may have got me to trade up for it, but I will Keep my Black Panel until it or I Die now.

Do you have any noise in the cabin of the car? Kind of like a long droning sound? When I get back to my car I was hoping to Dynamat some of the trunk floor.

There is a noticeable sound only when accelorating, although not as much as there is outside of course. It really isn't that intolerable, but if you don't want any in the cabin, then I suggest putting some-type of 'buffer' somewhere to keep it all outside. Hope that helps!
