Can you get the old catback off without cutting it and be on jack stands?

Got the new magnaflow catback in, and I gotta say it's stupid quiet...lol

Just cruising down the road there is some resonance but honestly I think my k and N is louder at WOT.

It's got a cute lil purr to it at idle but that's about it.

I may have to swap it out for one of the smaller performance series mufflers.

Sorry to hear that. I've had exhaust on just about every car an truck I've owned including a few 4 bangers. I really don't want that ricer sound from the HHR so I think I'll put my money toward something else for it. Good luck getting the sound you are looking for.

BTW, did ulyou ever get your rear cobalt springs installed? I was gonna order mine today but I've been running a fever off and on and just haven't felt like it.

No they haven't showed up yet.

It doesn't sound ricey, just not a lot louder than stock.

I'd be afraid I'd get something and it would sound ricey. I had a dodge magnum with the 3.5 v6 and the first magnaflow sounded ricey as hell! It took several hundred dollars worth of trial and error before I finally found something that sounded ok. I learned my lesson then. The magnaflow you got actually sounds more up my ally. I'd want something somewhat quiet for the HHR.

When you get that rice sound try adding a resonator or a cheap auto zone muffler between your caddy and main muffler. You'll get a nice low sound with some deep sound under WOT.

That's exactly what I ended up with on the magnum...in line magnaflow resonator.
