Turbo

What is the difference between the 2.4 on the Cobalt and the HHR? I was looking into the Hahn turbo, and they have one for the Cobalt, but not the HHR. Would the two be interchangeable or not. Any ideas here on how to make this work? I might consider this instead of a SS.

The engines are the same, but the engine bay is different.

Is there a way to make them work or would I just be making a mess of it?

Hahn is already working on a HHR specific turbo.

Not quite. The engine bays are pretty much the same but the routing of the pipes for the intercooler would be difficult because of the HHR's front fascia.

I'm thinking two small intercoolers behind the fog lamp locations would be a good place to start.

Isn't that the same as a different engine bay.......

You should ask supporting Vendor, Bill Hahn, known on this site as EcoBoost. He can probably fix you up if you can't wait for a drop-in kit. Looks like plenty of room by the exhaust side of the engine for turbo, just different plumbing needed.

I'm still waiting a little, but it is starting to look like he is already working on one for the SS. They already have more power then us, we need it first.
