Are 2005 hhr body parts interchangeable to a 2006 hhr?

I have a 2006 hrr LT that needs the hatchback, rear bumper, drivers side rear fender, drivers side front and rear door replaced due to a hit and run from a drunk driver. I have located a totalled 2005 model with those parts...the question is, can I throw those body parts on the 2005 hhr directly onto the 2006 hhr?

There is no 2005 model year HHR. Perhaps it was built in 2005.

And the rear fender is NOT a bolt on, it is part of the unibody.

If someone says they have a "2005" HHR for parts, I would steer clear of that one.
If they don't know what year it is, they probably don't have the title or even the rights to sell the parts.
Better safe than sorry.

As you can see in the attached image, the rear fender is part of the unitized body side assembly.

The doors and hatch are bolt ons, but you should probably farm the repairs out to a professional body shop. Judging from the amount of damage you outlined in your first post, I'd suspect that the entire unibody may be tweaked or distorted.

Your "Under Insured/Un-Insured" coverage on your auto policy should cover the repairs, less you deductible of course.
