Thanks CJ. Now, are the front and back exactly the same? Size, curvature, etc? And they fit in the piece that attaches to the beauty bar/front grill? Thanks for the info.

they are not the same. the back is smaller but it fits right onto the backand it sticks good and wont be a problem.

all you need to do is remove the yellow part only. take off the tape. i used acetone for the 3M glue and alcohol for the silicone and a single edge razor

you can take off the posts and that is the easiest. i used a small vice grip and grabbed it at the base of the shaft as close as i could and wiggled and twisted. pops right off

i put a black line or dot on the top of the bowtie and on the bar so i could line it up straight. i used a dry erase marker

i put 1 in 3M tape on both bowtie and base to give it a good fit on back,,, on front you just need to put the 3M tape only on the base

its really easy. for now take off the rest of the yellow on the back off and just clean it off and it will look good till the red comes in

So if you take off just the yellow part, you will have a solid chrome bowtie?

Yes with 2 small post holes and one indent from the mold.

kind of
its not that great looking though
on the front it is worse looking
