its all photoshopped at the moment. When it warms up, I'm doing it. I already have the grill and there is a thread around here that discusses taking the headlights apart

Ok; well I am pretty sure finding a suitable grill and having it painted...

I'll dig around looking for any threads on taking headlights apart, unless anyone has a link. However; how exactly would that sort of appearance be applied to them. I am guessing paint?

to do the headlights, you have to remove the headlights, stick it in the oven and warm it up and pull it apart. take the chrome headlight surround out, paint it, stick it back in and silicon glue it back together. then put it back on the car.

Wow.

Ok I like Scaleguys HHR there. I was wondering how the gold "bowtie" would look on a black grill. Now I know.

I'll have to track him down and find out what he did. I looked at some of his other pics, I love how he did his door handles. Wouldn't that depreciate the value though; painting the door handles? The only modifications that I am considering involve easily being able to swap factory parts back in if needed. But if painting the door handles doesn't make much difference, I love that look!

Thanks 06! Thats pretty much what I thought, as thats what it looks like. I just sent him a PM with a couple questions about his as well. Hopefully he'll reply, I'd love to know how he did some of the things to his.

Isn't there a Factory Grill out there that can be painted without doing much pre-prep to it?

Nope they are all either satin or chrome. Though the fall edition did have a black-chrome, most have given it a thumbs down.

I like those Riax Monzas. I think the look of really skinny rims with lots of openness is cool - it's like you wonder how they can hold the car up!
