Bumper trim & script emblems on today

OK- I figured out how to prep the script emblems, and managed to get them and the bumper trim on today. The bumper trim is not nearly as gaudy and loud as I though it would be- I think the silver cars can just handle more chrome.
Here are some preliminary photos- it's sunny as blazes out there and I can't see my LED screen well enough to focus.

Front bumper trim

Rear bumper trim and script emblem

And the side script emblem/s (not crooked I swear)

As I said- I know these are crappy photos. I'll get better ones once everything is done.

To come- vent visors (just got here) and maybe wheel well chrome??

Why is this stuff so addicting?

I'm 52 years old and never felt the need to tart up a car in my whole life before this one.
I think I'm just a late bloomer- never had my first tattoo until my 50th birthday, either.

You should'nt feel bad. That is normal! I hav'nt modified or customed a car since 1962 and here I am 62 years old doing it all over again and love it.
By the way, I like your mods. Looks familiar!

I can relate to your dilemma. I am the same age and I've never done this before either. Isn't it fun though? My grown kids get a kick out of what I'm doing to the HHR. In fact, my oldest daughter Tanya and her family left for Walt Disney World on Sunday and before she left, she wanted to know how many mods I was going to do while she was gone. "Mom...am I going to have to investigate this car when I get back?

Haven't done the tatoo thing though.

I love the Chevy script emblems too. Where do you find them? I think they'd look extra-super on our Spring Edition!
