Chrome Lower Grill
So far it's held up fine. The backing on the moulding came with the 3M adhesive. I applied extra strip(s) to increase the surface area that was in contact with the billet. To finish the adhesive process there were places on the back that I was able to get a glue gun into the area.
I figure the moulding won't fall off until I at least stop the car.... :-)
I ground the sides on a bench grinder until I had the fit and shape the way I liked.
It's homemade, but just looking at the car walking/driving by, you'd never really notice. Unless maybe you have the car and know that you don't have a grill there on yours.

In fact.... mine doesn't.
I have kept a close watch on the guage and the digital all summer. It's been almost 100 degrees this week, no problem.

That's the closest match I've ever seen. Now THAT's the way it's supposed to look. Nicely done and very clean.
