chromed 16" steelies?

chromed 16" steelies?

Ive done some searching and I havent seen it on here, correct me if im wrong... but has anyone tried chromeing the 16" steel wheels? Just wondering, Im thinking of doing it but wanted to see if anyone has done it before (on an hhr) thanks! (not quite sure how it would look, if its even worth it)

That wheel would not be worth the effort IMO. But if you had the 5 spoke style..... Might look pretty good.

Did you mean just chroming the hub cap or taking the hub cap off, leaving it off and chroming the rim?

Might look good. I did a quick photoshop of chevyspeeds pic of his rim. Next time clean them before taking pics man.

And for good measure, heres one on the car.
With some chrome lugs and a center cap, wouldnt look half bad IMO.

Here's kinda what a 17" G6 steelie would look like...I painted this with bright silver...

i got instruction chrome plating cd off fleabay for $5...for the cost of that paint or to get it done , you could diy...if you have enough shop space , time , intiative.......that 5 spoke looks good....i think the 5 spoke would also look good painted any color, black , or to match the car , and to put trim rings on....also maybe trim rings on the other steel wheel and chrome lugs , w/some type center cap.
