Correct SS Emblem Positions:
The chrome Cobalt SS rims look sweet, or are they from the new malibu???? I like the placement of the emblems, but do you have any clearance issues with the door opening and closing? Is it lowered and if so how? And as an owner of both an SS and 2LT HHR, I have to say that at the end of the day, its all just badges. If you want to make your HHR an SS clone, by all means have fun and make it your own, that what its all about, customizing your car. As stated before there are more clones of muscle cars out there now then real ones. You can basically BUY a 69 Camaro from Year one and no one will ever be able to tell the difference if you do it right. I am personally flattered that somone likes my car enough to try and "copy" it or "clone" it. Just lets me know that I have a hot car
Myself, I would never want to be a wanna be. If I wanted the HHR SS, I'd buy it. So, I did.
With your badging, the ricers will think they are heros
...they will say, " I ate an HHR SS the other day".
Yup, you fooled us all
. Have fun being an almost clone.

Or this one-of-a-kind F355 Turbo?

Or maybe this rare Chevy offering?

Few are confused by this. Nor are most of us concerned. Bob wanted red. Ted wanted 20" wheels. Roy wanted fuzzy dice. This guy wants white and chrome "SS" letters. Get over it.
As for the "almost clone," you may want to consider that we SS owners may be seen as "almost performance cars" by those 'higher up' on the performance food chain. If you're thinking otherwise, please note that you bought a mid-range utility "wagon" with a peppy motor. It's not a Z06.
