Is the amber lens going to be reused or replaced by a clear one? With it apart, would it be possible to epoxy a flat lens to the turnsignal housing or is it neccesary to even use it?

I agree with the removal of the amber piece. However, I would have to buy another set to tear apart and then change out.

They're an extra set I got off ebay. I don't have enough time to do it in one shot. Hopefully I can paint them tomorrow and install on Sunday. About 99% sure the front bumper will need to be removed, due to the design of the headlight.

Body color could look good, but my tail lights and parking lights are tinted already.

I forgot what it's called. I need to make sure it's not silicone based though because a few people mentioned in the cobalt how to that the sealant will eventually cause fogging. And also not letting the paint fully cure can cause fogging. So I'm not putting them back together until the weekend to be safe.

Did you get a magnaflow catback?

When finished, would you take before and after headlight beam pictures? Would be interested to know if the beam changes because of the loss of chrome.

You do not have to take the bumper off, The inner fender panel just needs to be pulled back.

I'll try and take plenty of pictures. I might make a how-to depending on how things go.

To take the whole headlight out? There's barely enough room to change the bulbs. I think it would be easier to take the bumper off.
