Also i noticed you painted some parts black that u said you were going to keep chrome.

Some of the chrome came off with the tape. It would have looked sweet.

Hopefully, I'll have them installed by Sunday, no promises though.

Now I see why you asked the question on sealant. Try this link. Like I said in the PM, it has to withstand high temperature, so no just any old adhesive/sealant is going to work.

well if it only took you 250 to melt the glue off i would figure you could get somehting in that range and it would be safe.

I don't know. I don't want to use it because a few people on css had problems with fogging.

what about a cyanoacrilic, or CA (super glue). 3M makes an industrial version called CA 40, super strong, the company i work for sells it, i could get you some but its like 20 bucks a 3 oz bottle. even better a clear fast setting epoxy would probably do the trick. again 3M is the best way to go on this and we also sell that, the whole kit would probably be somewhere around 40 bucks.
