Has anyone tried to put double layer or has double layer tint of 35% cause i would like to do it but i do not know if it would be really dark or just above the 25% of light goin trough

 

Double layer of film may cause tears in the tinting. The window slots are kinda tight on the HHRs. Especially the fronts.

 

I have doubled up my far back glass and far back side windows...5% on top of the factory...but I havent doubled up any door windows

 

08BlkSS, what do you have on your front windows?

 

right now i have 35% but i want to put another layer of 35% cuase i want it a little bit darker, or do yall know if they make 25% tint

 

They have 20% tint at wal-mart or almost any auto part store.

 

doubling 35 will make it quite a bit darker(closer to 20%). so if your really want a "little" darker, you may want to try and find something more like 50%. the difference between 20-25% can vary esp between companies.

 

I did something similiar, but I added 20% all around.

I would not recommend putting film on top of film though. The factory is between the layers of glass.
