Does anyone know how to put one of these back in? I noticed my driver's side cover on my 2010 was missing and luckily it was knocked back into the cavity behind it. I was able to reach in a pull it out, but I can't figure out how to put it back in. It appears it needs to be pushed out from the above mentioned cavity and I don't know how to access that space (clear as mud?).

Great forum, btw.

Thanks, Rich

Use this link. It is for installing a horn but it has good pics & instructions on the first part of the post and you'll see where the cover sits. Then it sorta pushes back into place. Look at the plug when you have it out and match the tabs to it on the bumper.

Very cool! Thanks Mike. Do you think I should try and plug up that hole if I don't get to that for a few days. We have 6" of snow on the ground and are expecting more all week (Ahh, Michigan in December!)

You could make some guards for the light fairly easily. With some 3/4 inch plywood cut a hole to match the lights with a flat spot on the top. In the piece of plywood cut about 1/4 inch bigger hole the take some gutter guard or screen or stainless mesh use the block and hammer screen material into hole to form fit it. stick it over the fog lights and tie it back with some wire......
