thats more or less how i did my mothers overlay on hers but used the bowtie cutout larger then the actual bowtie and turned out great

Currently working on getting close to gm colors so i can do color matched overlays as well as decals.

For a start... you should be able to find a good sample of the various GM vehicle color samples in some of the GM dealership vehicle model brochures available at most dealerships.

I would be interested in seeing the Burgundy metallic... Might go better with my Cardinal metalic than the ones I have now...

What we really need is a deep yellow SS overlays. I ordered yellow (from a company) and it looks good but the farther you get away the more neon yellow it looks. Will have to decide if it stays

i think i will be bringing my cutter and colors with me if im bringing my moms hhr

if i am bringing my cobalt i will bring cutouts of colors people post in the stl thread on the stl site
