I have an 06 LT. Put on a Billet upper and lower 1 month after I got the car. The original grille (chrome) is still wrapped up in the garage. PM me an offer if you want it. My sig. shows the before / after grilles...

It must be nice to be able to photo shop what you want to see it before you hack something up.
Ya, you're seeing these pics after the moderator resized them down to 640x480. They were a lot bigger and the colors looked way better, but I guess they were too big as per the rules on here (for bandwidth considerations). The grid of the mesh has become really washed out now, I wouldn't have posted them the way they look resized. And ya, I went to college for graphic design, but I'm a printer technician now.

I probably wouldn't get anything done if I didn't mock it up in photoshop first. Too much of a perfectionist to leave it to chance.

Maybe you should start out with a picture that has more light around it, then photoshop it. The pics were barely viewable before I resized them.

Ya, the photo was bad to start with. It's just the "resolution" of the details in the mesh doesn't seem to work that small. I made the mesh fairly fine, so the detail is lost at 640x480 and is just muttled together, effectively mixing the black background with the colour, so the colour almost disappears. I should have known about the sizing restrictions before, my bad. I did actually cut the original size in half, which put them down to 860x613. I just assumed because I was hosting the pics off-site, none of that should matter, but I was just considering load on ChevyHHR.net, not on individuals personal connections.

Here's a link to the directory containing all the original 860x613 if anyone's interested, the colours show a little bit better:

PS: Don't get me wrong ChevyMgr, I realize it was way more of a pain for you to resize them and keep them posted instead of just tossing them like you could have. Much appreciated, I will keep the rules in mind from now on as I'm quite sure I'll be posting a lot of pictures in the future.
