When I was looking for a SRT10 hood for my Dodge Truck all the Carbon Fiber hoods were $950 up. Fiberglass was around 700 and Duraflex(plastic) around 500, all unpainted. Hoods aren't cheap and trying to get them made in small quanities can get pretty pricey and rightly so as it is a lot of work. Then you have to get it painted that's another $500-700 for quality work. Now I know people will say how cheap their "friend" can do it for but I wasn't lucky enough to have a friend in the paint business so I paid for quality paint work and I got it. All that being said I could be interested in a hood with a scoop I liked for a moderate price.

I would hold that enthusiasm until you get 10 people that are happy with whatever price is determined once you compile the list. Roughly half of your list has expressed a concern about the price.

All this list is is an interest list the parts aren't even being made yet extreme won't make or develop a product if there isn't a market. All I'm doing is showing them that there is interest so they will at least attempt to make something for our cars. Cost won't be determined until we have enough interest for them to look into it.

The parts haven't even been made yet all this list is for is to tell the manufacturer hey there are some people who think having the option to buy a hood would be cool.

Ram I'm putting you on the list!

2 more!!

If you think a carbon hood or just a different hood in general would be cool put your name down. It doesn't commit you to anything all it says is that you think having another option would be cool.
