HID Headlights

For those who have HID headlights. What Xenon Headlight Color Temperature did you get (6000K, 8000K, 10000K, 12000)? How is the brightness? Also did you get the 35w or 55w kit? How differcult was the install?

I Got 10000K which is a Nice Lt Blue, Mostly White Light! Super easy install and I got the kits from XenonEyes.com. Hardest thing is to do is to unsnap the Front Bumper Fascia from around headlights. Other than that it's pretty easy. I also got the OEM Fog Lights which I added to my car after I bought it, I converted them to Fog Lights too. I could show you a picture maybe later tonight.

When you get your HID's make sure to get the Dual Beam Ones, otherwise you will loose your High Beam Function.

Do yours have proper high beam headlights? I did one of these kits to a Chevy Aveo a few years ago, and what the manufacturer passed off as "high beams" was nothing short of pathetic.

I would like to do a HID conversion myself as I drive on dark rural highways, but will not compromise high beam performance again.

Oh yeah, do you have pics of your lights?

I will get you pics soon, I got them and they are bright, especially when I have my Fog Lights on. I get high beamed every once in a while, so that should tell you how much of a difference there is! unfortunately, I will not be able to accurately get a great picture, but i will try my best!

I put 10k on mine and the color is bluish white. But is not rare for it to stay blue. I bought mine from craigslist.
