Question How do I know if my HHR has "Seat Airbags"?

How do I know if my HHR has "Seat Airbags"? I've got heated black leather but i can't see anything, and the vin info just says driver and passenger.

There shouldn't be any airbags in your seats!

Thanks! I'm trying to get some cheap covers to protect the leather for awhile, didn't want to compromise safety.

I really don't under stand the "seat" airbag question. Maybe you mean side airbags???

Some car lines have the side bags incorporated into the seats themselves, Mercedes comes to mind first. Putting seat covers on that style of seat could make things interesting in the event of a deployment. To clarify things, the side bags in the HHR are located in the roof rails, so no safety issues with properly installed seat covers.
