Knocked out my fog lamp
In a previous, closed thread I mentioned that I really needed HIDs because I hit a large bail of hay while driving at night on the road in Oklahoma. I couldn't see it until there was nothing I could do avoid it or even slow down much. I thought I had gotten away unscathed, but I was wrong. My passenger-side factory fog lamp was missing in action when I looked at my car this morning. Upon closer inspection, it had been pushed back and was resting inside the front bumper, with its glass and bulb (separated from the light assembly) both still intact. What do I need to do now? Is it possible to simply place it back where it was. Does the bumper need to be removed for this? Will I need to purchase another light, and are they sold separately?

If only it were so easy!
Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, the hay bale damaged more than I first thought. The inside wheel well trim is GONE except for a couple of vestiges at its edges. The trim at the bottom of the front bumper is loose, and the gap between the bumper and the door is slightly wide. So, there is going to be some body shop work needed to get it fixed, even though the fog lamp looks intact. I just put my arm in and removed the lamp assembly, which had become separated from the bulb. I pulled the bulb off the wiring harness without touching the glass part, and put it back in the assembly so I can take it to the body shop. Oddly, it still appears that the lamp and bulb themselves are undamaged.
Need visual cues
Could someone post a picture or diagram of the fog lamp and how it's held in place? I have salvaged a lamp assembly and a bulb, and I'm not sure whether the mounting bracket got left behind in the bumper or was destroyed or simply fell off in the road.
Here: this guy's in our classified section selling a new fog lamp assembly for $25: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/deleted-threads-41/brand-new-06-fog-light-bulb-case-32457/ Hopefully that'll help you with this.

EDIT: oops, nevermind I see you sourced one already!

Have NOT sourced one!
I only have sourced the HID headlights, not the halogen fog lamp. On eBay, where they cost more, the lights sold as being different on driver vs passenger side. I'm not sure which one this seller has. The picture on eBay shows parts that link the mounting bracket to the headlight assembly and are missing on mine, so I am sure I need to replace it.
