Fog Light Lamp

Regards from Spain. I am the happy holder of a HHR LT who I possess from 2008. Lately the lights got damaged antifog and I am not to geld of the model to find hereabouts. For what I saw in Internet there are many similar models and not if they are compatible or not. The one that comes installed is 9140 of Sylvania. Do you know if his Base Type is HB3?? Thank you very much and to forgive for the translation. Regards.

Hello, welcome to the forum.

You should be able to get new lamps from any GM dealer. I do not know what brands they sell in Spain.

I think the 9140 bulb is H10, I am not sure of that.

Hello and thank you for the response!! In Chevrolet and other distributors Philips and PIIA offer me, but to approximately 70 € the unit (95 dollar), which seems to me to be very expensive. The lamps H13 were brought by me of import and 15 cost € the pair (20 dollar), because of it I need the model to be able to ask for these. It will look at the H10 to seeing if they are those that I need.

Welcome to the site. I bought a set of fog lights for my 07 from ebay. They were listed as oem replacements. They fit perfect complete with brackets.

Here are some part numbers to help you search the web. Ebay has a pair for 70 dollars that list them as direct fit.

Good days. Ultimately I could find the exact model of the bulb of fog. The model who corresponds is H10 (months ago buy the H11 and they are not equal, this they do not enter the beacon) It is possible that in USA the model of the beacon changes?. Thank you very much to all for the help. I continue reading you.

It is very likely that your HHR had its lamps changed to European standards when it was imported to Spain.

Would it be possible for you to post a photo of your fog lamps so that we can see if they differ substantially from U.S. Spec lights?
