well..seemed like a good idea but with all the negative response ive had from a few folks i think I may spend my money on sumthin else aside from the lambo doors..they just dont seem to stand up to time and wear and tear...from what I hear

 

Make the rears suicide. I think that would add more wow factor and stick with the retro theme.

I think they are great. 1HotHHR has had his for over 3 years on a daily driver and I haven't heard a complaint. I plan on doing this to mine eventually.

 

well for me..untill I acually see one done..up close and personal..its now just on hold..I went today to speak to an old car fab buddy of mine..30 years in the buisness..hes done many but still not a big fan..the inner fender looks to be an issue..simple roll or a minor trim with cut off wheel should do it..with all the kits out there its hard for me to determiine what IS quality and what is crap..ill wait and hit a few shows around here this season..im sure I can find Sumbody with a quality kit....lots of horror stories over cheap hinges..

 

JT WAS THE 1ST TO HAVE both lambo doors and suicide doors on his SHOW CAR at the HIN shows in Calif his doors have been used by many celebrity clients and I was sponsored by him for my last Show Car and now my HHR, he uses titanium hinges and I have never !! heard of his JT hinge fail that he installed they come with a lifetime warenty if he installs them min 5 Hours on the hhr.I asked about doing suicide rear doors to JT he said it would cost to much and I couldn't afford it There is twice as much work involved...!
