Little Additions To Smoke

In keeping with my NASCAR HHR theme, here's a couple things I did this weekend.

Made my own airbag decals using Avery #3383 Ink Jet Sticker Paper. In one picture I had not pressed them totally down until I was sure they were going to stay.

Removed my old GM badges and put these in their place. Excuse the dirty car...it's getting ready to rain, so no point in washing it.

I also found a Tony Stewart tire guage on eBay and it came with 3 stickers, so I put 2 of them in the front 2 cup holders. Will save the 3rd one for putting in the front cupholder when the original one wears out, as it gets used and the other two don't.

I also have some stainless steel tail light rings on order and they should be here on Tuesday. I'll get those installed and will take some photos when that is done, but here's what they look like from the auction where I purchased them. I like the fact that they are not plastic, but rather stainless steel. Really looking forward to their arrival.

Looks great Deb! I like the helmet on the Tony Stewart tire guage. Very cool.

Try our vendors!

I think Race & Street and HHR Boutique carry them.

Are you as sick as I am that Tony is going to be in a Toyota next year?

It is my understanding that Maggie at Race & Street now has these in stock. When I first saw them on eBay (#330159985328), she did not. The guy I bought them from on eBay is the salesman who works at American Car Craft.

Here's the link to Maggie's store

BTW...I'm find with Tony being in a Toyota next year. The COT is such that they aren't real STOCK cars anyway. I follow Tony the Man...not Tony the Chevy driver, so personally I don't care if he's in a Volkswagon with blue and green polka dots...he's still Tony. Besides, with all the influx of new partnerships, foreign money is all over NASCAR anway.

True statement about COT but I also think that has taken NASCAR to a new low. They are making it into an IROC series. I don't like it but will have to get used to it. OK, you have convinced me to continue to support Tony but I still hope he jumps ship and ends up in a Childress Chevy.
