My Saturn Aura has two of these in the overhead console that are amber in color and give a warm glow. I am thinking of adding two to the back seat so that I can see my daughters faces at night. Does anybody know if I can buy the LED and bezel from the HHR headliner separately? A part number would be helpful if it's not asking too much.

It's really easy if you have a sunroof. If you don't have the sunroof I guess it's harder.

It is easier with a sunroof, but it can be done without a sunroof. I don't have a sunroof, and I was able to do get it done, and if I can do it without screwing something up, believe me anyone can . I posted a short little how-to earlier in this thread (post #140). You will need part #276-316. It is the 5mm 3.7 volt high intensity blue LED, and can be found a radio shack. Trust me you won't regret this mod.

If anyone wants help with this, just shoot me a PM and I'll help as much as I can.

Have faith grasshopper...I mean Goose. Actually it is a good thing to recognize ones short comings. But one of the things I like about this forum is with so many people trying things, it gives courage to people like me that would not normally try something for myself. My past MO was to make it happen by throwing money at others.

I've added this to my list of things to do!

After reading this and as a bonus having a sunroof, I'm gonna change this out. I got a bunch of stuff to add to the HHR and this will be added too!

My wife is really liking this vehicle. She may adopt her from me in time.. She's not so keen on all the mods, but she'll come around!
