if you do not have a sunroof you have to drop the front of the headliner or it will break something up there, there is a clip that slides over the top on the back side

whats the LED size and power rating? and the only LED's radioshack had you have to suader....

i wanna say a 5 mm. itll be the solderable type. buy you wont solder it in. just trim the leads and put into socket.

awsome, thanx for all the info. im probly gona do this but everytime i go to pry the headliner down(i have sunroof) i just hear somthing peeling and knowin GM's cheap interiors im hesitant to do this...

I did mine I just popped out the plastic piece where the Sunroof controls are at pulled the White LED out put in a blue LED but I did have to use a resistor inline. then plugged it in and Bada Bing Bada Boom blue mood light:

Here it is reflecting off my Shift knob:

Here is my whole dash that is all blue LED's now and my Aeroforce gauge:

ChevyM84,What you hear is the velcro strips. but since you have the sunroof, you do not need to pull the headliner down, the light assy will pull down. Think you squeeze it and pull, don't remember how I for sure but do a search and you will find a thread on it. Maybe someone remember what it is and post it.
