if this isnt going to be permanent I would reconsider.....if you put tint on there you never know the effect that the glue will do to your headlight housing, because when your headlights are on all its gonna be doing is constant re-heating and baking that glue into the plastic and poss turning it yellow and if in fact you will even be able to get all the glue and tint 100% off when it comes time to removing it....so maybe the cling on style would be best

Yes, mine are cling on style. I only hand wash my car because its gets done better that way. I use a medium pressure spray nozzle on the hose and even pointed directly at the tint it wont come off. They do work really good and there is no fear of damage to the plastic. It comes right off if you need it to and can be reapplied easily, though they say don't take them on and off too many times. I had mine of maybe5-6 times since I 've had them (usually when I do a car show style cleaning) and they go back on just fine. They were only like $20 bucks I think shiped so its worth a shot and if you dont like em' sell them to someone here.

i was tempted to get these as well and was looking at them on ebay yesterday. I really don't want to go the permanent route of spraying the down with nightshades, or taking them out completely and painting them (way too hard and don't have the room).

I was worried about the cling ons and washing as well. It's too cold for me to wash here now, and i get free car washes at the dealership. They use a high pressure touchless water system. I hope to take advantage of that a lot over the winter (plus it's funny to see my sales guy do do it...)

I would love it if someone made the hard plastic clip over kind...

What color you looking at half-panel? The dark smoke or the light smoke? I was looking at the lighter one so i don't mess with driving at night too much.

looking at light smoke.. i think itd be enough to knock the chrome down but still see light threw plenty easy. i wont get cling on cause my car goes threw a touchless wash 1-3 times a week. so i got to get something that will stick down good like tint, but can be removed at a later time if needed. if i did the light smoke and it lookd good, i might now worry bout removing and paintin later on..

Would the cobalt ss springs do anything to help the stance of my fall edition? I believe the window sticker from the dealership said sports tuned suspension but doesn't that give it a better stance. mine looks like the rest with that huge gap in the rear fenderwells.
