Almost any of the stubby antennas you buy come with several thread options in the package. The one I ordered came with 4 different types so I sat there and tried them all till I found the one that made the antenna sit flush.

Skyline

My stubby antennae came with adapters for 4 sizes. I don't have the size but have to say I didn't notice any difference between the length of the antennae and pulling in stations.

I notice a difference on mine. Some stations come in fuzzier then they were and I dont get as much distance with it on my normal stations then I did with the stock.

I just miked the threads on mine and it measured almost .015 which converted to metric is .381mm not near 7mm.

convert .015 inch to mm
inch inch
millimetre millimetre 0.381 millimetres
