I just made a measuring tool out of a old plastic card. I think it was my old Ballys id. It was a little thinner than a credit card. I just cut off a strip cut a little slot a little wider than the plastic piece sticking down from the needle did a little trimming and a bend. Whola spacer tool. Worked great.

Ok, Hamer1-Awesome looking gauges. Could you tell us all how you painted the needles? IE-Paint used, if you stripped paint off or just painted over the white?

Oh, and could we get some night pics?

Thanks Bjall4jc. Yes I took the needles apart and sanded off the white and repainted them with the orange from HiPo Parts They have various colors of paint. I got the orange, red, blue, and white. At some point I will probably change the color when I want a change of pace. There is a night shot in my gallery. There was also a bonus in doing the gauges because when I put new tires on it thru off the speedo. I checked my actual speed with my GPS and when I put the needle back on I adjusted the needle for the couple mph it was off and now it reads dead on again.
