On the factory headlights, is the orange color reflection for the turn signals coming from the orange bulb reflecting off the silver lining or is there an orange liner as well as an orange bulb? I guess what I'm getting at is if I go with a chrome bulb that lights up amber, will there still be an orange tint to the headlamp unit when the signal is off??

 

the source of the orange/yellow is the bulb. The area around the bulb is silver/chrome/mirror-like, reflecting the bulb.

 

I have LED's in mine and it's still orange.

 

On the OEM the bulb is clear and has an orange cover. On Depos it's the reverse.

 

Oooooops... I stand corrected. I was sure that both the Depo and the oem had the same material around the turn signal bulb. Solman's photo seemed to indicate an amber area around the bulb. I still have my oem's and so quickly went and looked. It's amber inside, even after taking the bulb out. I retract my earlier statement, lol.

 

That should be easy enough to determine by just looking at the light fixture WITH The lights turned off.
