That emblem looks 'wrong' because it's designed to be at the top of the grille, not 'floating' in the middle. As I looked at it, I thought to myself.....it would look AWESOME if it could somehow be mounted to a bugshield. Thoughts, people ? Maybe one of you picture wizards can 'fix' it that way for us to see it?????

It looks ok. I think it needs the lettering to be painted or decal(ed?) to make it pop a little more. I like the retro look but it looks like brushed alum/chrome vs bright chrome on the rest of the car.

I discount the crookedness factor because I can see the zip ties holding it on...only temporary to see what it looks like.

On the old ones, weren't the letters and bowtie and bars in red?
I think red for the color would look good, not color matched to the car.

I'd like to see what it looks like closer to the top of the grill. And like the others I think it would look better painted. Mabye blue letters with a gold bowtie. I think you have a good idea going.

I think it might look better at the bottom, with the lettering painted black.

I say if you like it, do it! I think that if you land it on the grill nice and straight, it'll look awesome. And, if you don't have the letter decals that go with that, they are always available at www.fillingstation.com

Nope, not working for me. Looks like it was floating down the highway and you ran into it. It's not balanced with the other lines of the HHR or your grill. Sorry!

It's a hood ornament, right? As such, it was probably meant to be on the tip of the hood, but I'm guessing that it doesn't fit there on the HHR.

My opinion is that it looks out of place in the middle of the grid, and I'm not sure moving it will fix that, because it's so large and all, but I've been wrong in the past (only once or twice ), so surprise us!

Front bumper ornament maybe? This needs to be fixed on something that will accomodate its size.

Keep in mind that my ride is silver with no pinstripe, decals or stick on emblems, so I'm biased towards a clean & minimalist look...

Not working for me...looks too big for the grill.

Maybe if the letters were coloured to give a bit of contrast.
