It's an American tradition. We have been modifying Schwinn bicycles, scooters, surfboards, cars, trucks and anything we can ride on for years.
It's real easy for an internet tough guy to come on here and be an ass about someone else's car. I highly doubt the tough guy will walk up to someone in person and criticize their car tho.
I remember my dad always saying, "Keep your opinion to yourself unless asked."
Frankly, It's none of my business what people do to THEIR vehicles.

I like that, first a slam to those that do add to the hhrs, then he has the balls to ask our opinion about the mods . play nice or go back to your play pen!

I always makes me wonder when a person comes on seemingly humble and sincere with an "I don`t want to sound ...." first line, I know it`s about to get ugly.
This is a site for people who do something a little different and think a little bit out the box, when it comes to their Rides. Looking like "the other guy" just doesn`t cut it.
Of course, some just want to change the way their Rides sound system is, upgrade head unit, more power, that`s cool. No one has come out and said, Hey, who needs to hear that. It`s your thing.
Why this thread was started, to start a dishonest discussion, is beyond me.

1st I have never did a mod till I got the HHR except for the Window Vents.
Since then and having so many SOM around I decided that I wanted NEMO to look different.
Tinted Windows
Rosewood Dash Kit
Carriage Works Upper and Lower Grills
Block Chevrolet lettering on the Upper Grill
3rd HHR Brake Light
Molded Mud flaps
Window Vent Shades
Ahoogh horn
Anti Sway Bar
Imco T-924 Muffler
CGS Intake with Outlaw Filter
No Bruise Door Knobs
Stubby ant
Wheel Locks
HHR air vale stem knobs
Nitrogen in Tires
Black Wrinkle Power Coated Valve Cover
Chevy twin Flag Oil cap
That is it so far I think, some I might have missed cause to me it has been that way for a while.
Coming in my hand as I am writting:
Block Chevrolet 1949 Emblems for the hood on both sides
Tail Light Rings
That is all in hand. Don't know what might be next if any.
But I can spot my NEMO anywhere.
Modding is not for all, but all who do it is fun, exciting, and yes fustrating.
Still Enjoy your HHR no matter if you do anything to it or not.

That may be true, but it does play a major role in keeping the rear window clean.

Can anyone second that?
I don`t have a rear spoiler, just wondering.
That would of course mean that the wiper has a minor role.

Check out the spoiler on my ZX3! It doesn't keep my rear clean!
