I was wondering if anyone had anything like this on their HHR

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB..._promot_widget

If so, how is the quality, does it last against the elements, and how does it look?
Comments and pics would be nice.

There are many members here with that overlay. Since the bowtie is "3d" the overlay does not cover it completely, and leaves the gold showing around the edges. That is why I painted my bowties. Haven't heard any complaints other than that.

I'm using an airbrush. The paint I'm using is Createx for airbrush. The clearcoat on mine has glitter mixed in the can. Theresa decided to go with just the plain clearcoat from Createx. I'm using the same paint on the interior trim as well.

If your interested............

I voted for paint.

That having been said, I have vinyl flames.
Reasons:
1. cost
2. wasn't sure how it would really look.
3. I can change them if I so choose.

I DO prefer paint though. If you find the right person to do it, It will look much better than any vinyl - But you're going to pay $$$ for it.

Paint all the way. If your going to do it, do it. Old school, new school, public school , it's all up to you. But if your going to do a mod do it right. I've never seen anyone lower their fenders to make their car look lower. They always use some type of lowering kit.
