I have the spoiler on (2) of my vehicles..
I didn't drill any holes....

I cut off the guide pins/bolts.... flush to the plastic insert..

Obtain additional 3M body moulding tape, and adhesive promoter..
I add , more 3M tape on the inner mounting surface, still allowing
water to pass or drain thru the tape.

Pre position where to place the spoiler... , applied adhesive promoter
to the surface of the area of mounting, started pulling the tape all the
tape on the spoiler, installed... applies some pressure, and also placed
some weights on the spoiler to give even pressure ..
Then done..
Been driving up to speeds of 75 MPH... spoiler still there...

When you mounted your spoiler did it sit up off the door surface? I assume this is so the water can pass underneath it.
