Rail mount desk

I cannot seem to find a rail mounted vehicle desk for some reason. Can someone point me in the direction of a reliable yet cost effective one? Thanks

Tried. Nothing of what I wanted. Of which is a seat rail mounted portion of a desk to use to write on.

Custom job probably? Or would one of those laptop holder-type cradles suit you for what you need? I'm not sure what to call it at this moment.

The laptop style would probably work, but I don't want the holes and mounts for that. I want to be able to lay a paper there and write on it if needed, or leave my phone on it if I choose.

Try yourmobiledesk.com, they have tons of choices. I use the AutoExec M-desk portable in Paddy and it works great.

No problem 1151, Paddy is both a fun toy and a mobile office, so I'm always on the lookout for productivity gadgets. I was just on that sight shopping for the new HHR, gotta have some presents for the new arrival when it gets here.

Can you link me to which item you got? I don't have a laptop, but I want to get something for log and incident reports to be filled out on..
Does it come with a smooth writing surface?

Try stock number GO-MDESK in their search and it'll come right up. I tried to link it and no luck, sometimes this computer hates me. The writing surface is more of a non-skid deal but I use a legal pad for notes and it doesn't move about, great for use while in motion. Hope this helps.
