Lightbulb Really Old School Mod Here

Now I know alot of you like the really old school look. While searching for something else...I ran across THIS.
Is this a blast from the past or what?

I remember my father having one of these on several of his cars during the late 50's and beyond.
Sure brings back some fond memories of him.

Definitely helpful in a car with no power steering.

Man, Does that take me back! Never had an eight ball, but had a pearl knob on my 49 Fleetline Chevy. Like Capt. said they sure helped when making hand signals and turning a corner.

Now I really feel old. Thanks SIHHR

This is a different one, but it goes on the steering wheel like the picture below.
Back in the old days when I was VERY young, before power steering, they were attached
so the driver could grab it and turn the steering wheel.

Those are illegal where i grew up (Maine). Up there they are called suicide handles. Cops would confiscate them if you got caught with one. They are cool though, and definately a blast from the past.

My dad had one that was off white and looked like a flattened ball.
