You could also have a vinyl graphics shop make some out of chrome material or make yourself to give the look your after.
Thanks Frank, but as stated I would want to use the Thick ones, whatever they were made of on the early HHR's.

I am kinda my own vinyl graphics shop/hobby.

I have 2 vinyl plotter/cutters and a few racks of vinyls like this rack here. Chrome vinyl would be pretty tricky to "wrap" these in, and be lasting, but i'd like to give it a shot and see how it looked.

Said that and gave an example in post #4. Would really give it a retro look.

Trouble is Chrome vinyls don't stretch well to "wrap" items and its not real long lasting in outdoor use, factory warranty wise, At least in the sign/graphics vinyls I am using, Oracal, Avery, and 3M.

I'd still like to try it out, would be a Different Mod for sure.

That's funny. As many HHR events as I have been to and I never noticed that these were not on all HHRs. I just figured they were part of the design. I know our 06 has them but after I drove through that blizzard in New Mexico that year they are all bunged up.

Not sure if I would do that or not, there is such a thing as "too much" chrome, just saying it would look cool on black......
