Regency HHR in Mystic

The Regency conversion folks sold one to the dealer where I bought mine.
It looks kinda nice. I like cream and I like orange, not sure if they totally work together here, but it is an interesting sight.
Here are a few pics:

From the Regency literature:

"This is a unique HHR. It has the regency Package Conversion which adds so much to this car. Some of the add-ons are: Custom Two-Tone Copia Paint, Upper & Lower Billet Aluminum Grill, Billet Aluminum Lic. Plate Holder, Stainless Steel Sport Exhaust Tip, 18" Chip Foose Chrome Wheels, 235/40/18 Tire Package, Sport Painted Center Dash, and Sport Painted Door Inserts."

The dealer almost got me with the hand written sign. I thought it said $20,255

Still, at around $25K, I would hope for fog lights, XM, six disc changer, etc.
An interesting sight.

I'm still happy with our HHR grocery getter in maroon, oh, sorry, "Sport Red"!

Hey, what makes something "sport"? The Regency conversion uses it far too much. I mean what is "Sport" about sport Painted Door Inserts?

I like 'em too! But they really show the need for four wheel discs, don't they?

"four wheel discs" please explain to this learner what you mean? That orange colored disk in the center of the rim on what I think is the brake drum?

Sorry didn't mean to hijack this thread........

Their from Chip Foose, and as far as size goes, they would fit with no problems at your current dropped height.

He means having the rear brakes resemble the ones in front. That orange disk is actually rusted, hence the need to convert and do away with the ugly rusted drum look. Get it?

Yeah. the rear drums are at least painted black. But if this is supposed to be so "sport", then why not 4W disc brakes? We know they have the technology.

Anyway, I guess untill the SS turbo is out, 4W disc will be an expensive aftermarket option that only a few will persue.

I kinda like the paint scheme more today. It is growing on me.
