Roof rails

I have the side mounted roof rails on top of my HHR. I have seen a couple of other people on here with them to. My question is where do you get the bars that go accross to connect them. If they are suppose to come with the side rails then mine didn't. Can they be ordered? I couldn't get a straight answer out of any one at the dealership.

Well, we had that problem with our Chevy Tahoe. We went to the dealer and bought them. They were about $200 bucks.

I was at the dealer the other day and the parts guy, pulled up the parts list and drawing for the roof rails and there were no connecting bars on the drawing or parts list?

Price to buy roof rails isn't cheap either plus you have to purchase individual parts as there is not kit part number.

Cool HHR cross-bars for roof rails

You would think someone out there sees this as an opportunity to make some money...And I am willing to pay a few hundred dollars if I could get cross-bars that look like they came with the car....if you find anyone in the LA area, please let me know...
.....I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has found a solution to this...
