Roof Rails

I'm confused, the "bright chrome package" says

Bright Chrome Appearance Package, includes bright chrome grille, outside mirrors, liftgate applique, door handles and roof-mounted side rails (when equipped) (B57) $0.00

So when are the roof rails included in that option and when are they another option????

They are optional on a 1LT and standard on a 2LT according to chevrolet.com

Roof rails are their own option ($150). If you have the bright chrome package you get bright chrome roof rails. The bright chrome pkg. is standard on the 2LT, not roof rails. I have a 2LT and had to spend $150 for roof rails and they are bright chrome to match the rest of the car.

I stand corrected...guess I should have looked farther down the page.

Was just looking at bright chrome package.

Yea, have the 2LT no Roof Rails. Not too sure I would want them if they aren't very supportive, structually. Any ideas on ones that look right and work well, and have the cross bracing for actually carrying things?

The roof rails are quite possibly a cosmetic type thing . I have them , but the support rails/bars don`t come with the deal. Don`t put any weight in the roof alone or you`ll end up with a damaged roof!!
