They were just installed yesterday and it, for once, didn't rain so I'm not sure. My 2- and 3-year old use the steps, too. I'll let you know how they do.

They are gorgeous on your ride! I too have concerns about winter time and the funcionality of the boards with my lil ones. Also, as I hate to have my ride dirty, it seems that those would collect a lot of dirt into all the grooves...ah what we do for beauty!

I don't think they're going to be that hard to keep clean. I can fit my pinky in the groves so I can get a rag in between them.

For those of you who can't see the photos, pay your bills! Those are absolutely awsome! And unlike the others that Andrew had looked at, the R in HHR is correct in design!

I made sure of that! I took a picture of the HHR on the back of the car and sent it

Here's another picture while taken before they were finished being polished:

The polished aluminum has a shiny finish that will match either the chrome or satin finish well.

Hope it helps,

Not to try to hijack but more to piggy-back....

Steve at Billet Badges is great to work with and does a great job!

Here's some pics of what he did for me.

You can kinda see the effect of the new boards in the pic in my sig.

I had a few of these made for new centercaps and also for the center of my steering wheel.

BamaHHR, you're ride is looking hot!

A little warning for those who have kids...like anything like this would on the running boards, they do scratch easy when stepped on.

Very cool looking though!
