Running Boards

Has anyone tried to install aftermarket running boards? The price for the OEM ones is crazy.

Didn't know they made any aftermarket ones for the HHR.

Just remember the saying: "You get what you pay for".
I recall a few aftermarket HHR body kits were available. From what I read, the quality of those parts was not very good.
This is one of those things where it's probably best to go with OEM.

Yes all the hardware. Looks like I am missing some clips that hold the step pad to the board

There is a Maroon '06 LS running around Charlotte with a set of what look like J.C. Whitney "Universal Fit" extruded aluminum running boards fitted to it.

It's every bit as awful as it sounds, unfortunately(or fortunately if you have a weak stomach), I've yet to see the poor critter parked anywhere to grab some pics of it.

Then there are the six "Peel-N-Stick" fake Buick portholes on each side of the hood.
