its so unfair.

I bought my chevy off the showroom floor in August of 05. To be honest I didn't even notice that it was without running boards until I saw one that had them. I was still cool without them, but not at the cost of my paint. Im starting to see the sandblasting now and its just unfair to find out after the fact and then have to pay. I just moved to New England and I just know Im in for serious damage to the paint after the winter.

I didn't get mine with boards, and the sides of my HHR got sandblasted. The dealer followed the TSB and did the re-paint, but you could see it wasn't going to hold up. The dealer offerd me a deal I couldn't refuse and I got the boards installed. I have never regretted it, nor have I ever regretted conducting business with the same dealer in vehicle purchases or service. Too bad Chevrolet wouldn't step up to the plate and solve a problem that they knew existed. Instead they left the dealers holding the bag.........again.

TSB - Technical Service Bulletin. Issued to dealers and repair shops when there is a known problem and usually has a corrective action

(psssstttttt.......I got mine for 200 dollars installed from the dealer....plus a free cup of coffee) Nope, no lie. I've always had a great relationship with my dealer. They understand customer service and satisfaction.

www.herbconnolly.com if you are ever in the Metro West area of Massachusetts, I recommend them over the others in the area. Hands down!

$200.00 installed!! Now that's a price I could go for! And for what you get I would say that's about what they should cost.
