I've seen several 2007 HHR's without the running boards. I can't believe after the hassle about this they don't put them on, again, I guess to each their own on this. The ones I've seen are LS's and LT's. Two different dealers and both have the 07's without boards. Now I did see one or two that came off the truck with the boards on, but lately they have been coming off the truck with out them installed, but with the vehicle. Check out this link to the TSB on the chip paint problem.

www.herbconnolly.com if you are ever in the Metro West area of Massachusetts, I recommend them over the others in the area. Hands down!
no way I could get your deal nor would I bring it up, but Wocester isn't too far away...

I only wish I could hassle my dealer about it....I don't have very much leverage at another dealership when they didn't sell me the car

I think they make the car look better. I hoping to be able to afford some for mine sometime in the future.

Just wait till the sandblasting of the rear fenders, then you'll wish you'd have gotten them.

I have left the chip guards on for the extra protection and because I am not really sure if I like the look with them off. When I go see my other twin on the 17th I will look at Jay's car and deside if I will take them off.

I am very happy with the running boards so far but they are taking some getting used to. They are killing the back of my legs getting out of the car, they sit out farther then without them and I am not used to it!!!

I LOVE the look of them, would get them again.

ive been having good luck so far the whole reason i have the running boards is the chip guards had gotten a good pounding ,i really didnt even notice they where that bad till i went to go put another coat of wax on.now the boards get the pounding ..my only concern now is the bottom of the boards..What they look like after winter!
