I think the general consensus here is that there aren't many HHRs in this group with a dash cover/dash mat. Hence, no pics.

And, maybe, they're just so ugly that no one wants to show them.

I still have one in my '89 truck only because its still in good shape. It does come handy for mounting things(temporarily) as velcro sticks to it quite well..never did like sticking a radar detector on the glass..to far away to play with..especially in those illegal to own states...at one time I had a huge arsenal of toys and such on my dash..easy to remove.

I have no pics...and I have never used a dash mat or pad.

But I will tell you this, on the new vehicles DON'T USE ARMOR-ALL (or similar products). Your paint will peel off after a period of time. The only dashes I have ever seen with peeling paint (in the last ten years) were glowing with Armor-All too.

I have a dash cover also. But I have no pictures. I bought a cheapy at one of the "thieves markets" as an experiment.

Here in AZ, I could feel the heat radiate off the dash when facing the sun. I installed the mat to cut down on that heat. It was worth almost 20 degrees according to my unscientific digital (and portable) temperature gauge.

I might have written a post somewhere about this.
