Yes that first one $999.00 I haven't been looking for one but that's the kit I'd opt for!

It always slays me how people think that professional auto painting is super cheap. Aside from plasti-dip or rattle can, a factory gloss paint job on anything, even a bumper is HUNDREDS of dollars. I got free labor on the complete re-paint of the V8 panel and I still spent almost $1,000 on paint, reducer, hardener, thinner, tape, paper and tack rags.

My last rig was $7,500.00 to strip, primer, base and clear coat, and that was in 2005 at a sponsors shop, he said then that paint job would easily be $15 to $20 grand!
Yes paint , materials and labour are mega bucks !

But, Earl Scheib is still out there, my mother had her (old) Mazda 323 sprayed for less than $1000. Not a factory job, but it wasn't too bad.

IIRC, the insurance company paid upwards of $500 to paint my rear bumper cover.

I started fixing drivers side "A" pillar. Then every door ding, dents in hood and on and on it went till $3500 for material later it was done. Sand paper, filler, paint, hardener, clear coats, and time. You can see why its $10k
