Question Temporary Auto Paint!!

I just saw an ad for this in Popular Mechanics. If this stuff works, it would be a great way to test your ideas for custom paint or auto graphics. Imagine the possibilities...you could DO your car for each holiday with stencils, all kinds of things - WELCOME HOME messages!!!

I mentioned this stuff, on the forum and in person, to some members. Most say not on my car...maybe the windows, but not on the paint (even tho Dupli-color says its harmless).

Can`t remember who, but he could still have residue on his hood, tried to protect it on a road trip.
These are his exact words, "Don`t do it".

BB, I believe he tried the Instant Liquid Bra stuff that Dupli-Color put out. I understand they have now stopped making that.....I least that was what I was told when I saw it on the clearance shelf at Wal-Mart for $2-3/can.

I remember this post you guys are talking about...had some pics in it too. They had a hard time getting the stuff off when they returned from the trip too. Thought it might be HHR nut...but I looked back and didn't see it. Maybe it's in the archives...it was quite a while ago.
