I had the multi-color/function Lite Glow kit on my Armada. It was VERY easy to install. You can easily hang the tubes with zip ties, and the wiring as well. I kept the control box in my glove compartment. As far as the HHR, best place would be to mount the control box in the dash glove box.

As far as the lit exhaust tips go, I'm not too fond of them, and you get a ticket easy for driving with them. All in all though, I don't think they look that great, and NO sound improvement.

my new neon

Well I just installed my neon last night and it looks pretty cool. I mounted the power block in back near the battery and mounted the power right to the positive post and the ground to the battery ground just to the side of the battery, I then ran the wires for the switch alomg the drivers side floor board undr all the interior trim and mounted the power switch underneath the dash. I had a hard time finding a place to mount the the rear tube. I ended up mounting it to the rear axle brace (the thing with all the round holes in it) and made sure all the wires had slack for movement of the suspension. I worry the vibration of the suspension will damage the tubr, but I could not get the 3 ft tube to mount anywhere else. Any one have any ideas or pics of where you put the rear tube? Any way here are pics of it.

i know my camera sucks in the dark.

My rear tube was mounted just above the rear bumper inbetween the steel frame and the bumper. Since this pic was taken I have removed the LED kit. It was well hidden and gave a GREAT glow! Mine was a blue LED kit BTW. Its kind of hard to see but we later used some black zipties that were hard to see unless you were UNDER the car. The protrusion of the rear prevented ANYONE from seeing the rear unside unless you were really persistant.

Here it was lit...

Sorry the pic is so b*i*g!

did you have to unbolt (or unretainer clip) the rear valance from its mounts? I though about that location but the tube would not fit there because of the way those clips are connected to the rear inside part of the bumper. I might be able to get pics in the mornig of what I'm talkinh about. If you did unclip them, how sturdy is that lower part of the bumper, does it wiggle around much? One of my push clips are a bit loose on mine and it seems to move alot more than the other side when I move it by hand. Thanks for the pics I'll check it out and get that tube off the axle brace. thanks again. BTW your car looks awesome!! really, I love those wheels on it.

here are the pics of the brace that is connected to where you tied your tub.

I suppose I could undo the connectors and tie my rear tube here also but I was afraid of the wind catching it and damaging it some how. I guess you've had no such problems?

I'm so embarrest! I didn't realize I had spots under there!

Nope. No probs with wind at all. And I've had my little 2.2 maxed out a few times! Mine has never had those supports in them since day one. I wonder why...?
