Wanting a "retro" look on my LT, can I delete the rear windows and get panel doors?

just look for panel doors on craigs or at the junkyard.. i bought a black n orange hhr, then slappen on panel doors from the junkyard, and painted to match, then slappen a wood time ring circle on the window, and painted around it

I love my full moon discs, despite the squeaking sometimes.. which can be dealt with too. I was thinking about powdercoating a set in white (like the car).. I think that treatment on yours would give it like.. even more of a "lead sled" kind of look. Utterly cool car, man.

If you’re going retro, red rims, www’s and baby moons! John Deere matt black paint helps too!

As for the windows to panel conversion, weld panels over the door and 1/4 windows, fab a set of plastic plugs for the interior panels, and shave all 4 door handles, there are door popper kits out there for that purpose, no having to program the doors or the instrument panel.
I suggest a TIG welder to cut down on heat warping the sheet metal.

Seems to me it would be easier to get a rear ended SS and a front end wrecked panel and play mix and match

And what about the rear windows? Can I delete them easily or is it a full body change?
If possible I'd like to install porthole windows down the road.
Any ideas/input?
I would trade you doors

DirtyBobMagoo posted that 8 years ago. Doubt you'll get a response from him. He hasn't even logged on here since 2014.
