The only Bra to consider is the Colgan. They invented the Auto Bra and still make the best available.

The keys pointed out are true. You must keep a tight fit or flapping will damage. Take it off it is wet and the sun comes out, Keep it clean under it and waxed. Also use caution on dark colors.

Bras are only a point A-B use item and long term use is not advised in anyway. If you do use it for long periods of time you will incure damage even with the best.

The Lebra is not suited even for the worst John Deer. I sell these at work and will not stand behind them in anyway. I do not sell the Colgan but I have one for my other car I only use on trips.

Wolf also has one close to Colgan it is just a little cheaper but still a good qulity unit for the money.

If you want to use one buy the best and only use it on trips.

 

Actually up until this Bra, I used "Perfect Fit" from Carbras.com absolutely the best Bra I ever used! I used them on my my last 5 cars! There are outstanding!! They could stay on the car wet for months at a time! never a problem! They just didn't have one out for the HHR SS or I would have had another!

sandblasted in the front, like the windshields in every car I have owned here in the Antelope Valley, I keep the bra on all the time. I just take it off when I wash the car. Not only the sand blasting, but the dead bugs, ugh. Try a drive to Vegas. But, I do keep the car in the garage. The last three new cars that I have owned I kept the bra on. And, I have never noticed any paint faded or scratched. Yep, keep the underside of the bra cleaned as best you can. Keep a good coat of wax on the front end of the car also. I expect to be getting my '09 SS around Labor Day and I plan on ordering the Colgan full 2-piece bra this week. My first mod, so to speak. I also work nights and the majority of my driving is done at night. So, the combination of parking in a garage and having it outside mostly at night, keeps the sun off of it.

 

You have all been so helpful....Thanks :o) I really do so much interstate driving and there is so much construction around, so many dump trucks and needless to say so many flying rocks. I just love my new car and want to keep it as nice as I possibly can.
